Atlanta Pallets & Services is a Georgia‑based pallet manufacturer providing pallet manufacturing, recycling, and treatment services. We are ISPM‑15 certified and utilize Pallet Design System (PDS) software to support pallet design and application needs. Contact our locally owned business to learn more about our products and services.

  • Are you an American-owned company?

Yes. We are American‑owned and operated, with both of our manufacturing facilities located in Georgia. Our main office is based in Atlanta, and our operations and management are locally based.

  • What sizes of new wooden pallets do you sell?

We manufacture new wooden pallets in virtually any size to meet customer requirements. Using our CAD‑CAM Pallet Design System, we work with customers to design pallets based on load requirements, product dimensions, and handling conditions to ensure the best performance and value.

  • Where do you get the wood used to manufacture your pallets?

Our sawmills, located in Shady Dale, Georgia, process lumber sourced from managed timberlands in North Georgia. By cutting our own logs and producing lumber in‑house, we maintain greater control over material quality, availability, and lead times compared to pallet manufacturers that rely solely on outside lumber suppliers.

  • What lumber do you use in manufacturing new pallets?

We manufacture new pallets using Southern Yellow Pine and select hardwoods, including oak and poplar. Depending on application requirements, we also offer pallets produced with kiln‑dried pine lumber to meet specific handling, export, or moisture‑control needs.

  • What are the requirements for pallets that are shipped overseas?

Most international shipments require pallets to be heat-treated to eliminate insects and meet ISPM‑15 export standards. Because requirements can differ by country, please contact us so we can help ensure your pallets are compliant.

  • How do you combat mold on pallets?

We offer an optional mold‑retardant treatment using a dip‑tank process at our sawmills. This treatment helps reduce surface mold growth on pallets when required.

  • Do you sell used pallets?

Yes. We offer two types of used pallets:

Recycled 48" × 40" GMA pallets, which are inspected and repaired for resale.

Reclaimed (manufactured) pallets, built using recovered lumber from dismantled pallets. These pallets can be produced in custom sizes based on customer requirements.

Reclaimed pallets are a cost‑effective option for many applications and support material reuse through pallet recycling.

  • Do you do scrap pallet removal?

Yes. Depending on the quantity, condition, and type of pallets, we may offer scrap pallet pickup for wood reclamation and recycling purposes. Availability is evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis, so please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

  • What is a pallet Sort & Repair program?

A Pallet Sort & Repair program allows customers to return damaged pallets for reuse. We pick up broken or worn pallets from the customer’s location, transport them to our facility for inspection and repair, and then return the serviceable pallets to the customer. This program can be a cost‑effective alternative to purchasing new pallets and can be tailored to meet specific operational and budget requirements.

  • How do you handle transportation and delivery?

We operate our own company‑owned fleet of more than 60 tractor‑trailers, including flatbed and van trailers, allowing us to manage deliveries directly. This in‑house transportation capability helps us provide reliable, scheduled deliveries to customer facilities based on order requirements and availability.
